Being forced to reload from a save....(Solved) - by ieatsoap86

So i'm level 8 in Erothin (if that's incorrect I apologize), and I'm chasing the thief for the letter and when I get him to stop running I get a message in German that essentially forces me to load the game from my last save and won't let me do anything else. I have the latest english patch installed as well. Any help?

This is an amazing mod by the way, I finally have use for my pc copy of Oblivion.

It's a message saying I failed the quest...not an actual bug.

Well I would think you were only to slow. If the Thief is too far awey, you have to relod the quest. But if you was nere to him, I don't know why it done so. I can only say: Try it again until it work properly.

By the way, where did you got him to stop runing? The hunt is only over if you are in the canalisation, I think?
