I am using the English version.

I cannot follow along with most of the conversations because the subtitles go by very quickly.

How may I slow them down?

The subtitles cannot be slowed down as they need to run exactly as fast as the spoken dialogue, and if you would slow them down, it would sound crazy. So, no.

Well, since I cannot have any audio due to the issue in my other thread, I was hoping there was a mod, as I seem to recall there being a similar one for Oblivion.

Also, some of the subtitles stay on for considerably longer than others. And some of the subtitles are in German, which really is not at all helpful for me playing the English version.

If you can find it again, you could ask its creator to convert it to be compatible to Nehrim, or try it yourself with this tutorial. I hope you find a way to fix your sound problems.

If I recall, it happened during the battle with Fate's messenger, I cannot go back to record the subtitles for you.

Thanks anyway, but I have finished the game.

It was not a bad mod at all, other than the technical issues.

I was hoping for further updates, but I read that is not going to happen. Unfortunate, as I believe with a little more work, Nehrim could have been a really great game.

I guess that's just bad luck, it already is a really great game. I can't understand that the subtitles go by very quickly for you. You must be really slow reader then that's your fault not theirs. At least explain why you think of this... other than that the subtitles go by too quickly.

I do not believe I am that slow of a reader.

However, as the subtitles appear on whatever background is on-screen at that time, sometimes it is quite difficult to even see the words.

And, some of the subtitles that might be two or three sentences only appear for one or two, or perhaps three seconds.

Frankly, if you have no constructive suggestions, please refrain from posting.

Regardless, I have managed to finish the game at level 47, despite the problems I encountered.

My only suggestion would be to save often and, if you think you missed something important, reload.
