For some reason, I do not get any music during the opening sequence, the title screen, or even character creation. I have not gone beyond this because I am relatively certain this is not supposed to be the case. I can't find anything wrong with my installation at all and I'm at a complete loss. Is there not supposed to be any music or am I missing something?
EDIT: I am using a disc version of Oblivion, and the only mod I have installed is the English patch for things like books and signs. I also have OBSE installed (though turning it off/removing it has no effect). I have also tried switching between hardware and software sound with no difference.
