Well I can save by doing: save blah....

but I can't save the normal way. It says Save Successful but when I go load the file is gone. Poof! The reason why I wanna save that way is because I wanna change the appearance of my character... I don't like the look of it :S and I don't wanna start over. Please help!

Did you press tab (or alt-tab) when entering the name of your character? Engine bug.

Hm...What? I am talking about how I can't save..not about whatever you're thinking...

Pressing alt-tab or tab during character naming is a cause of the "impossible to save" bug. It causes an invisible tabspace in your character's name, which leads to saving failure (as the name of a save begins with your character's name, and the tabspace is a forbidden sign).

Than is it possible to fix it?

I personally prefer saving using the console anyway, because that allows me to give custom names to savegames.

The only reason I wanna save using the normal way is because I wanna change my character's appearance
