is there any way to reimburse SureAI for this excellent game?

i would like to make a donation or contribution if possible?

this games content and gameplay FAR exceed most games i have paid for this last year.

if we can't donate, perhaps offer some 'bonus content' for those willing to pay a small fee

Can someone from the SureAI team confirm that this "pledgie" thingy is still active and has not been hijacked by unsavoury characters since 2011 --- better safe than sorry, especially in light of the recent attacks.

PS: Is there a specific reason there is no donation button/link in a reasonably prominent place ? I for one would have donated ages ago if it had been easy to find.

Good that you asked! I wouldn't donate yet, we'll probably open up a new account for donations in the weeks to come. And as for your other question, we were and are still reluctant about accepting donations. Maybe we shouldn't, since it will help us to cover some of the expenses for the project. However, we hope that we have the support of our fans once we go commercial. Who knows, maybe with a Kickstarter-project or something like that.

But it is great to know that there are people who would actually donate.

Okay, I shall wait, then. I'll check every now and then, and I receive notifications for this topic.
I understand the reluctance. But donating is a concrete way of showing appreciation --- the only such way available to those of us without the time or skills to contribute otherwise.

What I would advise against is a quid pro quo model of donation; i.e. "if you give over €X, then you get an extra/exclusive gizmo!". This can get "in your face" pretty quickly, and it is no longer a donation in the strictest sense.
I am surprised that this was in question. I get the feeling that Nehrim did not get nearly the exposure it deserved, and I would speculate that the absence of English voice-acting is largely to blame for that. Lurking in the forum, I gathered that Enderal will have English voice-acting. That is a good thing, for obvious reasons.
