Alright so I've been playing this game for a little while and I've been loving every minute of it so far, but I've come across a few roadblocks.

I left for the sanctum after escaping the mine, and I got there, spoke to Vanmira and went on the quest to have the vision by the statue. I got back from the statue, but now I can't find her. Does anyone know where she is? I've searched the Sanctum (I'm not sure if I looked in every single nook and cranny but I shouldn't have to do that) and after giving that up I stood by where she was when she gave me my quest and waited. Can anyone help me?

Another issue I'm having is that I haven't yet picked a class so I can't focus on the skills I want to yet. How late in the game do I have to do this necessary step? Should I have done it by now? Sorry if this belongs in a separate thread but I don't want to clutter up the forums.

Vanmiria tends to wander around the circle where you met her and the building to the right (Mage Council or whatever). Wait a few hours and she should turn up.

there are no classes as they are in oblivion; however, in nehrim the class and birthsign are sort of merged. villain, warrior, etc. if that's what you were referring to, the head mage guy (can't think of his name) in the sanctum, he'll let you pick it.
