I have this problem for a while. As soon as Nehrim was available in English I downloaded it. I started playing it and there was no problem at all. I came out of the first cave and in the small encampment. I did the quest with the rats in one smaller cave.

After that quest, the lower part of my screen became really blurry. I didn't had this problem before. I let the problem rest, thinking it would be solved with a new patch. Now I've downloaded the most recent patch and I have still the same problem:

I have this problem too. The issues for me is when I have HDR on and Catalyst drivers forcing anti-aliasing. The shame of it is that it sometimes works fine with AA and HDR on but will randomly go back to the half blurry crap for extended periods of time. Basically I had to chose between HDR and AA. I went with HDR.

What setting do you have the Catalyst AI at? Try turn it off if it is running.

I had AA set at 16x. I turned it off, turned HDR on, and now the problem has dissapeared. But it's kinda annoying to turn AA on every time in the Control Center.

WEll, i use both HDR and CAtalyst AA and AAA and it works flawlessly. I honestly have no idea why it doesnt work on your computer, but i suppose thats the deal, HDR or AA.
Btw, you can create different profiles in the Catalyst settings, which you can choose with a hotkey combination. So you can make one profile with and one without AA and simply switch with a keyboard button press.

I'm so glad I found this thread, I actually had the problem where the WHOLE screen was blurry - but only outdoors. Now that I've turned off the forced AA in my Nvidia controls, everything is okay!
