...the last 'two volumes' are not just the same in name, but in content. A shame, as I was looking forward to reading how the story turned out. Is this odd effect intentional, or a accident that occurred somewhere - perhaps during translation? Since the IDs are different, I would assume that the second was duplicated to make into a third but the third volume not actually copied over into it.

German version also has this 2 books with different Price and same content. If i remember correctly, the story did not end in volume 1.

Maybe the error is not the wrong price, but the wrong book linked to it, rendering part 3 a missing book, that should exist, but is replaced with part 2 all the way?

Yes, that is what I would expect. Obviously the price itself is not the sole issue, because there would still be two separate books with distinct IDs in the Construction Set, and they would still be listed separately in containers and barter regardless of their price and meshes. I assume the high price is because vol III should be comparatively rare, thus making it more valuable.

Mind you, it should be noticed that "The Biography of Barenziah" in original Olivion (not the "Real Barenziah" series) also has a duplicate last volume for some reason too.
