Poisoned sheep at Andrusch Farm quest - by batai37

Hi all,

I found Amanda and chose to follow the quest where she says to search the barn for poison as evidence the shepard is poisoning his own sheep. Problem is, I think I visited this area before assuming the quest and found the poison then, and I seem to have sold it off to someone somewhere since it's no longer in my inventory. It doesn't appear that I can continue this quest since the poison is no longer there, and there aren't any dialogue options for either character that can further the quest.

Is this quest now screwed since the poison is gone? TIA...

I don't think the game would have let you sell them off would it? I would think they would be flagged as quest items. This may be a silly question but are you looking in the right spot within your inventory? IIRC, the poison bottles are listed as miscellaneous items and are not located with the rest of the potions. But you say there are no dialog options for either NPC? That is confusing. Whether you have the poison bottles or not, you can try this...

[+]: First check the loft of the barn in one of the corn boxes (if you haven't already). The poison is not in a normal crate. If you had remembered correctly and the poison is not there because you removed it earlier then go back down into the cave and near her bedding and work area there is a chest hidden from view by, I think, wood walls. Search till you find it, pick the lock and you will find more poison bottles. Take those and then speak to her again and she should confess I would think.

Thanks, I went back there and searched the corn boxes after finding a post here about the "moon sheep" quest, and there it was. Feeling kind of stupid now, thanks for the reply.

And think your choice through, consider the psychology of the antagonists. Otherwise, you'll make the same stupid decision as I did.
