The Dam NE of Cahbeat - by Wrangler

Hi,

I entered the Dam NE of Cahbeat and have two questions.

(1) In a room, I think was called the Mana Creation room, is a Juice Storage Tank. Interacting with it does not do anything for me at this time. Is this normal or is it part of some quest I apparently have not started yet?

(2) In the area with a moving spiked rack, is a gate which is remotely controlled. After retracing my steps several times, I still have not found the control for it. Where would this be at?

lol...That's really funny to me because I had the same problem in your second question and posted about it just the other day. Here is the link to that thread but I will tell you here too....

[+]: The button to open that gate door is on the other side of the gate. What you have done is actually enter the complex from the "back side." You sort of entered in the exit. I did the exact same thing. If you go out the way you came in and then look down over the edge of the Dam you should see another entrance way down below. at the base of the Dam you are standing on. I just jumped from there into the water of course and entered that way. Really you aren't missing much. I think there are three battlemages and very little loot before you get to the front side of that gate door again. Still it's worth doing probably because then, if you ever need to, that complex becomes an easy way to travel up that great height in the future.

As for the mana juice tanks. I think that is an unfinished portion of the game. There are a couple places like that in the game and the short answer is that, no, I don't think you can do anything with them so I wouldn't worry about them.

Hi,

Hee hee, I had a feeling I entered the back door, since I could not find the activation on this side. I also gave the three Battlemages a chance to open the door, but they just ran into the gate, so I fireballed them the thru the door opening.

Thanks for the post, I ll go and look for the front door.
