- How the heck do you get past the Iron Gate in the Dam Ruin? This is an Aeterna ruin, the entrance to which is located atop one of the large white Dams. It houses Boss Feldron. I have taken him out in the Mana Forge part of the ruin but back in the Dam my way is blocked by a remotely activated Iron Gate door. I can see the remote activation button on the other side but there is no way to activate it. I have tried arrows, telekinesis... I have even tried attacking the Aeterna Battlemages off in the distance by casting fireballs and the like through the opening - this you can do btw, they get pissed and come running but they aren't smart enough to push the button to open the door so they can get at me. They just run around, bumping up against the other side of the gate door and look irritated.
Anyway, I have finished the main quest (great btw) and am currently visiting all the places I found previously but didn't enter and I am a bit frustrated and would like to know how I am meant to access that other part of the ruin. Is it not meant to be accessed yet? Or is there another entrance somewhere outside the ruin? Any help from anyone who has figured it out would be much appreciated.
Update: I figured it out. There is another entrance. I had actually gone in the back way the first time.
