I found the master brewer by the barrel. However as he was talking to me to let him out, his body was floating lifeless in the water.
Has anyone else experienced this? I opened the barrel (which was empty) but the quest is still telling me to let him out.

Wow, really? You could always try using the code "resurrect 1" to bring him back to life. I'm not sure if that would make the quest trigger correctly though.
