Finished the main quest, yes i dont like the fact that kim died and there was no closure and the mq was better than oblivions and all that. This should have been established by no. But how the hell do i get into Zerobilon, the Iron Fire Halls in the south and the Portal of Darothmar? Did i miss any quests? Everyone seem to have been there but me

Zerobilon: there is a quest starting slightly to the west of the old Erothin arena.
Iron Fire: not completely implemented yet
Darothmar: not implemented at all

What exactly is the quest trigger? Cause ive scoured pretty much every area ive come across in the game but this quest eludes me so specifics please.

Rathma: When you're walking south from Erothin along the road that leads to Stonefield, you should pass a path that goes down to an arena. If you walk slightly past it, there will be a chest along with some clutter on the left side of the road. Opening it should start the quest. There's also another way to start the quest (minor quest spoiler, just the name of a location involved in it):

You can also start the quest by reaching the end Alcazar's Last Bastion, a dungeon situated off the stretch of road that goes almost directly east from Furtsanden around the point at which it turns and continues north alongside the Eastern Mountain Range. This method skips the first part of the quest, though.

I stumbled on the Zerobilon quest through the ambush by Shadowrun (which I think is near Stonefield Castle). There's a set of chests in the middle of the road, and if you check it it gets it going. I can't remember if it really gives you a quest right off the bat or whether I just followed the information on the notes that were lying around.

Note that Zerobilon is apparently not completed yet, but going through it will get you a teleport spell rune that will enable you to zap right to it for when it is completed.

I read on the wiki thats theres a tower defense mingame in zeroblin, and I've got to the part where you kill the zeroblin mage, and theres a portal with a barrier on it. Is the tower defense minigame only in the german version? Or am I missing something painfully obvious? Keeps saying "The way is blocked."

Also, whats the highest level area to go exploring? I'm not sure if thats the northrealm or treomar/ostian area.

Oh and, are there any hidden dungeons up on those massive mountain ranges? I managed to climb, with difficulty, all the way up the northrealm mountains, only to be told to turn back

Tower defense is available in the English version. Look for the switches.

It isn't really much of a post-MQ dungeon since it's pretty much in line with the region it's set in which is something like 20-24.

There are a few places in Treomar Fields and the Arcane Crater that are more difficult than anything in the MQ.

I've considered working on some sort of post-endgame quest, but I've got so much on my plate right now I really can't.

Do you mean the two switches with the little blue bits facing diagonally from each other? All in all i can only find 2 switches, one opens the gate to the portal (which has a barrier i cant remove) and the other raises the cage in the centre of the room. Are there more than those 2 switches?

You have to patch the game to the newest version to play tower Defense, it wasn't implemented until 1.0.9.0.!
If you play an earlier version the entrance is blocked by a magic barrier.
