It says you have to have your shares in your locker for you to make money. Do they have to be on a shelf or can they be on the floor. I can't fit them in a cubby hole but they are in the locker.

There should be two chests in your vault: the one labeled "My Chest" that you find in every town, and a smaller one where your money goes whenever you make a deposit. The latter is where you need to put them in order to make money off of them.

Is that chest in my vault that I get to behind the tellers in the bank and open with a key? Because I see no chest there.

Thank you! I was in the wrong vault. Dumb mistake but you aquire keys to other vaults throughout the game and here I am trying to shove my deeds into a little wooden rack. I have the right vault and chest now.

Heh. I had a hunch that that might be the case; that's why I made sure to include the vault number in the picture.

just pickpocketed the key 111 from banker, but i can't find the 111 vault. where the hell it is? i know about two rooms with vaults but there is no 111...
