Hi. I searched previous threads for the answer to this question and didn't see anything applicable, so I hope this isn't a dupe.

I'm on the quest where Calisto, Kim, and I split up to search ruins for the entrance to the temple. I followed Calisto until he says we should split up, I received the spell Call Companions, and I located my ruin on the map.

I've now explored every part of the ruin I'm able to access. I clicked the Switch in the first main room off the entrance hall and opened the three doors leading North, East, and West. The areas East and North are impassable. The area West leads past a series of Mummies to a large room with a small lava pit in the very center. I've fully explored this room and found nothing exception about it. Nothing triggers an advance in the quest. I've tried using the Call Companions spell at various places in the ruin, but each time it tells me I haven't yet found the secret temple entrance.

I'm completely stumped. Is this a bug, or am I overlooking something obvious?

Ah! I found it with your clue. Thank you. One of the continuing problems I have playing Nehrim is remembering how much more dynamic the puzzles and triggers are compared to the stock Oblivion game, and even some of the nicer big mods. Must remember to look at everything before I cry for help.

I've found the magical door that needs Callisto to get open, and I try the "Call companion" spell, but he doesn't appear.. I've tried leaving the Old Temple and tried the spell in the Southern Highlands, without luck. Kim is following me, Callisto is not.

That's odd. I quit the game last night, only to open it this morning, and suddenly this quest works. Kim started talking to me, and I was then able to call for Callisto.

@ Schubert and anyone else who may have the problem with the summoning spell in the future: I see that you got your spell to work but I am curious, did you have god mode on when it did not work? The spell would not work for me either and I tried all sorts of strange things to fix it. After reloading a very old save and playing back to that point I hit the same problem. After reading your post I logged back in hoping to see the spell function properly but nothing happened. Since I carry too much loot I always turn god mode on as soon as the save loads or I can't move. I thought to turn it off to try the spell and it worked perfectly. Maybe the game was getting back at me for hoarding loot. So if your Call Companions spell won't work make sure god mode is disabled.
