Cannot find Data Files - by EnglishRuler

So i installed Nehrim into "C:\SureAI\Nehrim". I then moved the files into my Oblivion folder with steam. However whenever i try to launch oblivion GOTY edition i cannot find the Nehrim datafiles. i have repeatedly uninstalled oblivion and Nehrim but to no avail.

Can anyone help???\

Running:
Windows 7
Steam Oblivion GOTY

p.s. i have about 20 oblvion mods will that affect the files?

Steam is a pain when it comes to modding and Nehrim...

Take a look at the Readme.txt of Nehrim, there are several sections about Steam and "Nehrim does not start" problems.
Please verify that you did not miss a step.

I did absolutely everything

"Unfortunately, you cannot use the Launcher provided by SureAI with Steam to start Nehrim.
Therefore, click as usual on the Oblivion start icon. Nevertheless, DO NOT click “Play”
yet! Just as you do with other mods you must first activate the Nehrim files.

Check
· Therefore click on “Data Files” and uncheck ALL game files that you have activated. To
play Nehrim now enable “Nehrim.esm” and “NehrimData.esp”. NOTHING ELSE! All
files that have anything to do with Oblivion must be disabled or the game will crash.

Does Not show files

When i try to run oblivion from the Nehrim folder most of the actions are faded (such as play) and i cannot select them

Check with the Explorer, Oblivion\Data has to contain the following files:
Nehrim.esm
NehrimData.esp
NehrimEnglish.esp
NehrimData - LODData.bsa
NehrimData - MeshData.bsa
NehrimData - SoundsData.bsa
NehrimData - TexturesData.bsa

If that is not the case your installation is defect.

If they exist install Oblivion Mod Manager and see if you can select the Files with it.

That is the result of the Steam DRM.
