In the main menu, and in the game, there is no background music. Sound effects such as hitting the menu buttons and swinging weapons and such work, but otherwise there is no BGM.

I have this problem in vanilla Oblivion too. And don't tell me to update drivers.

Nevermind. Fixed this. Now, periodically, my controls will lock up, whatever I'm doing will continue, but nothing responds. Mouse will not move, clicking does nothing, nothing on keyboard will respond, and I'm forced to CTRL+Alt+Delete it.

Fixed this myself, again. Now I have a bug where my character will randomly start sliding across the ground in a diagonal direction, and makes movement incredibly slow, as well as inverted.

My god, I've never gone through so much shit with a single mod. Get your shit together before you release something so goddamn buggy. Fix this nonsense and maybe you'll get people to play it.

Since you have the same or at least similar problems with your vanilla Oblivion installation you may want to tone down a bit. Nehrim and the SureAI team can not solve problems related to your installation or the Oblivion engine itself.

For all practical purposes your problems seem to be related to the gamepad/joystick problems of Oblivion itself.

Dude, will you please tell me how to correct the mouse+keyboard stop working issue?
It is my only problem with the game so far.

Set "bUseJoystick" from 1 to 0 in your Oblivion.ini, in case this is really the issue (I hope so).

Weidly enough I found out it was a sound issue.
Reinstalling newer codecs from the K-Lite codec pack solved the issue and I was able to play for hours with no problem at all.
