I have been playing the game slow, looking for random caves and not really progressing the main quest. My quest log says i need to talk to archmage vanmiria to join the order. Other npcs say i need to talk to her. I have talked to her a lot, infact she 100 disposition to me. But she isn't giving me any chat path to moving the quest a long. Infact oddly everyone seems to like my character a lot. I mean things that should attack me do, but things that should be rather neutral seem to love me. i often see 100 dispostion with npcs i have never spoken with. I have i generated some glitch or something? If all else fails anyone know the command to force the quest ahead? i mean i'll keep trying to talk to people. but i'm fairly sure i'm stuck.

The first thing she tells you is to wait at the Observatory til midnight to talk to Merzul. Perhaps you need to hang out at the Observatory and see if he shows up. He should get there around 12:30 am and he'll discuss birthsigns with you.

I can't find merzul. so not sure what is up. waited inside that rind all day and night never saw merzul. any help is appreciated.

In your savegame you have not done the pilgrimage quest yet.

In case you just missed the text, they tell you to visit the Statue/Shrine of their famous leader. Once you get there a cutscene will begin. This statue is south of the Sanctum, heading towards Sindara(sp?).

The fun thing is, he HAS this journal entry in his savegame.
