I'm on the quest in the Creators Temple currently. I lost Kim in Surnan (?) because I teleported away to do some business in Erothian and when I came back she wasn't following me anymore.

Is there any way (including a console command) to force a follower to appear again? Can I just go ahead and finish this quest solo and Kim will show up again when the plot demands it? Is she necessary for this quest to complete?

After the scripted event of the cave-in, she appeared again and we finished the dungeon together

I teleported away a few times while being followed by Kim, or other people, and when I eventually found my way back to where we were heading they showed up again.
I even did a few other quests and visited some temples/caves etc and it didn't seem to matter, even with supposedly 'time critical' events.
