After going to the temple of the Soul Flayer, the speed buff given by the small square you shoot will not go away. Unfortunately I didn't realize this would be the case and my previous save is like...an hour behind. Is there any way for me to fix this? I've tried setting my speed down by 100 but the character's movement speed stays the same. It's really annoying to barely press 1 and dart forward 50 feet. Any help is appreciated.

Can you please upload your savegame, and, more importantly, tell what exactly you did in the Soul Flayer Temple after you got the speed buff? Did you save and reload, did you cast "Dispel" or something similar, did you use the cheat console, did you try to get the speed buff for a second time?

"player.modav speed -100" and "player.modav athletics -100" should revert the speed buff completely.
