I've installed Nehrim (and uninstalled it) quite a few times already since startup is impossible, seemingly no matter where I save it. (And yes, I've done everything the Readme says)

I have Vista, and apparently any Program files will cause failure, and I can't do My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini either. Where exactly should I save it if I can't do any of these? Probably sounds like a terribly stupid question, but I'm just not sure anymore xD

Have you tried installing to C:\Nehrim ?

I agree with Thehawk. i just put in in C/: No program files or anything.. and then put your oblivion saves in a different folder or when you try to load a nehrim save you will see like all your oblivion saves aswell..
