Yeah so, i bet many new players would ome here first so... might be good to have people tell about how fun/lame their adventure in nehrim as a spesific class were.
I'm a Nord with a warrior sign.. I specialize in archery, blade and blunt. heavy armor and block, so a weapons man, kinda like a ranger, also invested some time to armorer and restoration. planning to get higher acrobatics/athletics for the ability to dodge and regain fatigue faster.
As i warrior i have to engage in melee combat more often than not, archery for me is mainly to weaken strong opponents by a crit and consecutive shots, paralyze with a arrow drenched in poison, or take out annoying critters from afar. Since i specilize in blade and blunt, i can use any weapon i find, and i usualy carry a longsword/shield for difficult opponents, and a warhammer/claymore for weaker mobs i can 1-2 shot with a power blow.
Having high armorer allows me to repair to 125% so i have higher armor/attack rating, this coupled with restoration buff spells, like restance/stat buffing spells allow me to engage any opponent without fearing death. My HP/fatigue is pretty high too, which means i swallow a lot of pots to heal.
Overall, i recommend playing as a WA, i did however find much more mage loot, so i would like to play again as a mage. As a wa, expect to dish out a lot of damage, and shurg off same. But if you are engaging more than 2-3 opponents you will be wishing for something more.
About warrior spesific skills: the stances are good, mainly the attacking one, the defensive one gives too little defence to warrant the damage loss. stone skin can or will save your life in difficult battles, but the berseker skill i have yet to put to good use.. the 10 str bonus seams to be all going for it, and it has nerfs to resistnces.
