I am having a problem when I am trying to escape the prison with Melvin, after Merzul is killed. When we are at the torture chambers, he counts to three and then I am suddenly supposed to put my key in at the same time as him. What I don't understand is how I am supposed to do this. A little step-by-step guide would be nice.

I am sorry for cluttering with noob questions but I hope someone can help me.

Just by clicking at the keyhole.

I have a problem with this quest. Whan i wake up in the cell(Erothin prison) I cant talk with Melvin. He say: "Can you hear me? Come here! Come here!" I go there and nothing happening(i see he). I cant talk with he, i cant sleep, i cant wait, i cant do anything. I loaded older saves(from the other island, and from the battle), and i restarted the game too, but it still doesnt work.

Have you been playing an outdated version? You have somehow managed to get into the Erothin canalization even though there was a closed portcullis, and triggered a quest update of MQ09 (getstage MQ09 == 255). Do you have a savegame from before you did that?

I playing with the newest version(EN), but whan iam in that severn i played one older. I remember to this severn. North side of the tower bridge? There is closed "flood gate", i jumped over the "gate" and yeah than i got the escape quest. Later i went to the Monastry too. Than maybe iam level 10, now iam level 22 so i havent earlyer savegame. Am i a noob? And what can i do now?

Sorry, I don't know what to do here. There has been a long topic about this bug where I kept proposing "solutions", none of which worked. Manually raising the queststages of MQ09 to continue is not a good idea either since this breaks a later quest. The flood gate is not jumpable anymore on 1.0.8.

Option one: Delete quest list. Just remove "Escape" quest from my completed quest list, and than maybe i can do again this quest.

Option two: When iam in the jail, and i cant talk with Merzul, so my task to get out of there. I need a way to unlock the cell door. Or an other way the teleport, so just teleport me(and Merzul) to a safe place.

When i read this topic http://www.sureai.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... n&start=30 i found some file. “eradicatemq09.esp” or “eliminateMQ09b.esp“ file, i dont know, but when i launched the game with this .esp file i can talk with Merzul in the cell, and he say something(Escape quest end dialog).

I think the “Option two” is a good idea too, but how can i get out from there? Any other option?
