Cannot find SOAP for Helmet Quest... (spoiler?) - by Styr

I have been looking for the Soap unsuccessfully and have decided to ask just in case I have a bug.
I was under the impression the Soap may have been in the Boxes near the Gate which they are not.
I have searched every container in the area including robbing the "Humans' but to no avail.
Hope someone can put me on the right path!

Maybe the guards at the gate have seen it?

go at the gate and shoot those mages behind it with a bow to provoke them; then the soap will fall from the top of the gate
