Dark Forest performance drop - by JoKeR

I get a sudden enormous performance drop in the majority of the Dark Forest. Literally slide show, I could barely get on my horse and ride away. If I look in a certain direction suddenly it stops but if I look back it slows to a crawl again.

This only appears to be happening in the Dark Forest, I've completed the whole MQ and done quite a bit of exploring in all parts of the world and have yet to encounter this anywhere else.

[edit] - Ah this can be closed. On closer inspection of the README file it explains why this happens.

In one region of the game (the Dark Wood) a performance drop occurs when a spell is cast.
The solution for this is to temporarily turn off distant land. The quickest way to do that is to
open the console with the “~” key and typing “tll”. Likewise, it can be turned back with this
same command.

Same stuff happens with a torch, I didn't read the readme and had a hard time getting through.

(Especially those pesky spiders with paralize spam were causing a huge amount of delay)
