2- Level opens higher ranks. Higher skill reduces mana cost in regards to magic, I'm not sure what higher skill does for melee skills. Reduced fatigue per swing perhaps.
3- The horse is pretty resilient and has very high natural health regeneration, just parking him un aggro'd in the wilderness should be fine.
4- Yes you place it in your bank locker (NOT SECURE STORAGE) in Erothin... I found the earnings disappointing. As in, totally incosequential... Maybe I missed something there but waited 24 hours I think I gained like 12 gold ? There is at least one other I know of, don't want to spoil it.
