I'm stuck trying to follow the trail from the dragged person starting from the clearing with the mushrooms when it gets cut off by the road. I can't seem to find any other clues on the other side or the same side both close and far away. I've tried searching in the general NW direction but I can't find anything to help me figure it out. I've checked a few caves and a town along the way but I still don't know where she went after the mushroom basket.
Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Try passing over a certain bridge to the north west.. you need to pass over the river.

It's in a cave at the other side of the bridge, you cannot miss the bridge - its a landmark. After that the cave should show up on your map, to help you further - when you're inside the mobs you encounter are called "Creatures" with dremora skins. (so you can recognize the right dungeon immediately)

He is correct...if you just stand on the basket, point NW and go in that direction.

Ok, Well I have been at this quest for quite a few hours now and i cannot find the cave,I give up......... can someone give me an even more exact location?

"Old Furtsanden Bridge" which is a short distance South of Furtsanden. If you are in the town of Furtsanden and you walk down to the river bank and look south you will see the bridge. It is elevated well above the river. Once you cross the bridge you will immediately run into another map marker called "Stone Circle" which is a just that, a circle of stones (think Stonehenge). The cave you seek is just WNW of that Stone Circle. You should be able to see the cave entrance from the Stone Circle. It has a white flame burning in front of the cave entrance. Just FYI, I do not think that this cave has a map marker, so, it will not show up on either the compass or the map.

For what it worth, there is a piece of the woman's torn dress laying on the ground in front of the cave entrance, to assist one in determining it is the correct cave, before venturing into it.
