Im having trouble in the first dungeon where your supposed to kill that black troll using four torches. I read that miners letter saying to put the torches in the trolls lair and i got the torches from that cabinet, but when I go to the trolls lair and put the torches in their mounts nothing happens. The troll just sits there in the middle of the cave. I attack the troll with my dagger and that does barely anything, and when the troll goes near the torches it does catch on fire but the fire does no damage to the troll and it keeps on chasing me, what should I do now?

Using the cheat TCL ruined your savegame xDD
You just have to make a New game ;^)

Oh I was supposed to use the gondala, I came to that platform with the gondala but what happened was I pulled that lever while the troll was chasing me and nothing happened. I then ran around the platform for a while before I came to where the gondala was and then suddenly I was on top of the ropes that the gondala I assume would use to go across the chasm. I just ran alon on top of the ropes to the other side.

Edit: Am sorry but what is the cheat TCL, I never put any cheats into the game

Oh darn it i'll have to start again. Oh well the whole mine looks so good I dont think i'll mind starting again too much

Just a side note on that troll. I nearly peed my pants twice while that mongrel chased me through the mine. Felt like I was playing Doom.

Does that mean you peed your pants once and when you felt you are near peeing them a second time you took off your pants and peed on your chair (and the floor) instead?

Ah, you got that collision bug. I have fixed it now for the next patch. Not really fixed, but I made a collision box so one cannot skip the gondola sequence anymore. The bug itself is a flaw in the collision engine of Oblivion, and we can hardly fix it...

You should reload a save where you still can access the gondola, and continue from that stage on.
