I just discovered this website. I am spellbound! Great job. I did all the 4 chapters of Elderscolls and all the expansions. Hearing about a new game with a similar game play and lots of improvements makes me very happy.
However I would like to ask you a couple of things if you don't mind:
1. Is this an opensource project?
2. Are there any possibilities or intentions to port the game on linux os? (As I do not use windows, I can always emulate with wine but I would appreciate if finally people would start making games for linux users as well)

1. Depending on what you mean by Open Source. The data created by the Nehrim team is free to use - however, the mod contains some data created by others as well, and it is not always free to use. In doubt, it is best to ask the team about who is the author of what.
2. I have tried to run Nehrim on Wine some time ago the same way as one plays Oblivion on Wine. After losing half of my nerves to the usual Wine problems such as malfunctioning mp3 support, I finally got it to "work". It actually worked well in the wilderness, but inhabited zones like Erothin (the capital city) had a framerate of ca. 2 FPS. I don't know what the problem was - probably some setting made Wine use only a small part of my CPU or my RAM, or something else - but changing the graphics settings ingame did not help. Maybe you will get better results. (After all, my experience with Wine is limited to these Nehrim attempts.)

Actually I do hate wine and I try to play and buy only games that are linux native. This is the main reason why I asked if there will be a native linux version for this game, as I know there is an opensource linux native client of a rewritten version of Morrowind.

Yes is still a work in progress. As you can imagine rewrite totally a game (and its engine) is not a simple task.
However I still did not get the answer to my question?
There is (or there will be) a native linux client for Nehrim?

Not that I know, and I doubt it very much. If rewriting the Morrowind engine from scratch takes that long - which I can perfectly understand - you can guess how long rewriting Oblivion will take...
