hello

it is now thursday august 19th

my question is simple.
Do you have an estimated date of completion?
the website says sometime in august.
well we are nearing september.
i would have thought that by now you would have some news for the community about the progress of the translation.
(on a side note my birthday is next week so this would be the perfect gift XD)

thank you very much for the work that you have put into nehrim
cant wait to play.

We're still trying to release it at the end of August, but we can't be sure about it. If August doesn't work, then it will be early September.

Given the date today, I think all of us would like to hear a clear answer. Is the translation going to be on time or not

I think the later one is right, but a clear word from the translation team would be greatly appreciated by all us impatiently waiting people. That way we'll at least be able to take a breath and concentrate on something else, rather then think: "Is it going to be today? Is it? What if it isn't? Argh, I can't wait to hear about it!!"
I know you have you hands full with catching bugs, but a clear yes or no shouldn't take much time.

By the way, I hope you guys are ready for a massive download flood once the release starts. I wouldn't bet on it being greater then the one after the German release, but I will do all I can to be one of those crazy people, who just countdown the passing seconds till the release and then grab it all hot and steamy from the oven.

Haha, you can bet I'll be there as well, if I'm not working. I sure hope I'm not... I wanna at least grab it quickly

How many downloads did you have on German release day?

I really love to see the proper attention given to those who spent so much time and effort on these sorts of projects!

No idea how many there were in total and I doubt anyone knows it. But one of the servers had 1402 downloads only an hour or two after the release. And that was only one of them and a few hours! Now try to imagine how much it was with all the other servers and the torrent downloads...

the september is here and no news about english version so far... at least official release date would be great.

As you can read in the posts before and on the download site - release will be early september. I doubt we will get any more specific date until it's day or few of them before the release and they will be sure, that it will be ready on time.

I know it's early september. With a release date known I wouldn't have to check the website daily

Mod devs usually work in their spare time, which can be erratic. I'd like daily updates too but ranting really isn't on when the product is free and the last post by a dev was a few days ago only. Take a chill pill

Why don't you create an entire game with a handful of people who aren't getting paid, then translate it into a different language, and THEN you can come back and say that.

That is, if someone didn't say it to you in the process.
