What is the tower on the top of the painted map? I've been looking for this damn treasure out of insane curiosity. Please no spoilers for this quest as I want it to be a surprise to me and anyone who reads this topic.

It is just castle Stonefield. But not important for the quest at the moment.

I don't believe I have discovered Castle Stonefield yet. I remember reading that my character has never left the town. (Can't remember the name right now.)

Also thanks for the incredibly fast reply. Do you mean that the quest is not important or the castle is not?

During the quest you will visit Stonefield, just a bit patience

I don't believe I have discovered Castle Stonefield yet. I remember reading that my character has never left the town. (Can't remember the name right now.)

Yeah. Maybe as a child your character visited Castle Stonefield somehow. But the tower is not the important thing on this painting. Have a closer look.

Is the important thing the town on the bottom left side? Is that the town I am in? Even if it was I found a digging site and nothing else in my search for this hidden treasure.

So I just got the Search for My Roots quest, and I found the

[+]: luck boost plant

on the island but still no quest update. Is this normal or is it a glitch?

I wonder if I have a bug in my game.
I found the painting of the tresure map, so now I am looking for the tresure. The tresure is on one of the two island in the lake west of Tirin Abbey right?
And there is two islands on that lake, the tresure is on the south island?
But I have been looking around there, but can not find the tresure, can anybody please tell me exactly where it should be, and what it looks like?
If I do not manage to do this quest is that going to be a problem? I have done several other quests now, I have choosen my star sign, but not my class yet, when can I choose my class?

I've spent over an hour searching the island. I found the strength plant but I cannot find the dagger anywhere. Could someone please tell me EXACTLY where I need to look?

Don't look at the trees with your own eyes, look at the trees with the cross hair, so you can then select something in the tree.

I have a strange problem with this quest. There is just nothing in a chest. I opened every single container in the house, looked in chets where green arrow leads, no drawing and no quest updates. Is it a bug?

ps/ never mind, just found the answer on forum. Had to check inventory..
