Hi all,

I'm having trouble starting a new game. I have heard that this is usually because the version of Oblivion is not patched correctly. However I have patched the game appropriately and it still does not work. I have also tried reinstalling Oblivion both with and without the Shivering Isles expansion, patched to ver. 1.2.0416, yet I encounter the same problem.

I am using the English version of Oblivion, so I'm wondering whether this is a simple compatibility issue, any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Did you activated the game files "Nehrim.esm" and "NehrimData.esp" in the Nehrim Launcher?
