First question: Do you have a savegame for us—from while you're still in the dungeon, or right after you finish it?
You can find these in the Nehrim Saves-folder at:
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Saves
There are always two same named files, a .ess and a .obse file. Put both into a ZIP archive and attach them to this post.
By any chance, did you complete the main quest “The Arcane Sanctum” around that time? Because there's also a partial blockade at that point (an extra quest).
If you're using any external mods, that could be the cause, but the easiest way for me to check is by looking at your save file.
As for general crashes, keep in mind that the old Oblivion engine is quite outdated, so it doesn’t really support newer hardware very well. Plus, it was inherently quite unstable, and Nehrim has even higher system requirements in some cases than Oblivion. With the right settings, though, it should run crash-free for 2–4 hours, except for certain bugs where waiting 3–7 in-game days usually helps. but I’d be happy to test that out myself with your save file.
Releasing it as a standalone game -for example, through Unreal- could solve the problem, but that would require an enormous amount of extra work, especially since we don’t own the rights to all the assets; those rights belong to Bethesda and, in some cases, to other creators who are no longer reachable.
However, since we’re now developing many standalone commercial game with a much smaller team than we had back then, this task would be impossible to accomplish. (especially since the game is now over 15 years old)

I’ll be happy to try to find and fix your error using a suitable save file.
Having several different save files can help you fix various errors, so we recommend creating many of them so you don’t have to go too far back in case the worst happens.
It’s not easy to fix something on the spot, and besides, most of the original developers now work elsewhere and are no longer reachable.
Keep in mind that we created all of this in our spare time and you’re getting this work for free, but you can still be respectful.
Also, the main problem is the engine, which we can’t change anyway.
