Hello, after fixing issue with Enderal launching normal Skyrim i run into another problem.. After starting a new game im occuring this error message:

"You have encountered a problem which stopped the files from loading correctly. Usually, this problem occurs if the launcher doesn't have writing permission in certain folders which means that some files couldn't be edited or created. Make sure that the launcher isn't blocked by Windows or third party programs. It is important that the 'Enderal - ForgottenStories.esm' is highlighted in the 'Data Files' window of Enderal's launcher."

So ESM is highlighted and checked, also launcher, skse, and tesv.exe are whitelisted, im running everything in admin

Have you tried the following?

Disable the write protection that Windows may have set on these folders (right-click on folder -> Properties -> uncheck "read-only" -> confirm).
No worries if it 'activates' itself again (this is a "Windows feature" .

C:\user\"username"\Documents\my games\Enderal

Yes i tried and its still occuring.

But i didnt get a plugin.txt, so i created new one, should i write something in it?

Also i changed locations on inis from My Games/Enderal to C:/, because my skyrimredirector couldnt find them there, without this im unable to start Enderal from launcher

- Which antivirus program do you use and which Firewall? Do you have more than one of these programs active?

- you don't use any extra mod's or modmanager?
Current mod managers are not suitable for Windows 7 and 8, because they only support Winwows10,
they get problems with enderal's own switching on 7 and 8.

- How do you change the locations for the ini's?
(for the Enderal Classic the enderal.ini is ALWAYS under C:\Users\...\Documents\my games\Enderal and the plugins.txt under C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\enderal)
As attachment I sent you the correct plugins.txt.

- Switch off the SteamOverlay under Steam-general and under Game-Settings.
- Switch off the Steam-cloud (for enderal and skyrim).

Im using Windows Defender only.

Im on Windows 10 with no mods, i got Vortex but never used it for Enderal.

I edited SkyrimRedirection.ini and i just rename file path from normal to C:\

I already switched overlay earlier, also i didnt use steamcloud.

Ill gonna try with this plugins.txt

EDIT: Ok so the empty plugins file was the problem, thank you very much i can finally play it
