So, i've been doing a playthrough in the Special Edition of Enderal and i've had no trouble up until this point. But when I leave the inn with Calia for the castle, to go get the Black Pearl, as soon as i aproach a group of Nehrimese soldiers the game crashes. It is so uncanny how it crashes whenever I get close to them that i believe it has something to do with them.

Would you mind helping ?

your save doesn't crash on our end, so it's probably something to do with your mods,
and your best bet might be to disable (or better uninstall) and reintroduce them one by one.
I don't have any of them installed, and Two-Handed fight was SUPER fast, don't know if that was a bug with the game or intended by your mod setup.
so even if it doesn't crash without mods, the save might still be broken :/
you could try to run the ReSaver and see if that helps.

BUT
maybe it's not the mods and a verification of the game files already helps.
