Bank of Erothin - Vault 111 not opening - by henriquejr

Hi!

I succesfully picked the lock of the Vault 111 (Bank of Erothin) and its door didn't open. The "Padlock" icon vanishes, only the "Door" icon remains. I tried to activate the Vault but nothing happened.

Then I went to rob the key from the main banker, but when I use it on the Vault door, nothing happens.

Is there a way to solve this? Or to manually open the Vault 111 door (by means of a console command etc)? I saved the game after picking the Vault's lock and the save previous is a bit early!

Hello henriquejr

for me the safe lock goes without probleme, it works with key or with lock picking.
Therefore a few questions:
What language is your nehrim?
Do you use any mods? (If yes, which ones?)
More normally I would say load an older save game.
(save a lot and not only with autosave or quicksave is important^)

In this case maybe a save would help us, you can be found here: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Saves
We need the -.ess and the -.obse file of the same name, put both in a zip or rar archive (the forum does not accept -.obse otherwise).
If possible no autosaves or quicksaves, but a manually saved game.

Hello Stefanie,

-My Nehrim is in English.
-No, I don't use mods at all. I'm using the Steam version of Nehrim.
-I am sending the save games as requested.

EDIT: Just to let you know: I relaoded a previous save (like from 30 mins earlier), and when I picked the lock of the Bank Vault 111 the same problem occurred, the Vault door didn't open.

this seems to be an issue with the english version of the game :/
options going forward:
1) switch to german to open the vault
- change the language of Nehrim like any other game (you don't need to switch to Oblivion)
- if you restart the game it will start the switch and you can "update Nehrim"

2) use tcl
- with the console, type tcl and move forward to loot the vault.

I used your first option. Changed Nehrim's language to German and it worked like a charm.
