Hi, I just started playing the game and after a few hours I found a pipe and got the "To smoke peaceweed, activate Smoking Pipe in your inventory." UI message. It keeps repeating like every min. It seems there is no way to get it to vanish. Removing the pipe from the inventory does not work, turning off all tutorial messages does not work.
Does anyone have an idea of what to do? I can't stand having that message pop up anymore, but I really don't want to jump back to a save before I got the pipe. I will loose 3-6 hours.

Do you use any mods?

Please send us a savegame. Then we are able to see if we can reproduce the problem.

They're found in ...\Documents\My Games\Enderal\Saves
We'll need the *.ess and the *.skse file.
Best a manual save (no auto or quicksave).
Pack both to a zip or rar archive (the forum doesn't accept *.skse).

No mods or any other outside changes to the code except changing the FoV to 95.
I did try a few things and I even got the message to stick to memory or something. If I loaded a save with the message and then loaded a previous save game before I found the smoking pipe in Riverville, the message still showed up.

It takes a few seconds before the message appear.

As suspected, the error (it is caused by the engine) was written into your save.
As you said correctly, this continues in every subsequent save.

I think I could fix your save. You can keep playing with it

I recommend you to create more manual saves in the future !!!

Yeah I have to think about manual saves, the damn autosaves makes me lazy

As a precaution, we generally recommend that you often create a manual save . Errors can occur (caused by the engine or mods, for example) that are written into a save and are then difficult or impossible to fix.
Often only loading an older save will help
