I've defeated the Black Guardian and talked to Jespar in the Sun Temple Vault afterwards, then told him my decision to flee to the Star City. Then the quest Fleshless completes. But after that, (sometimes a loading screen will show up first) it goes to a completely black screen in the same room. There are also occasional continuous explosions left over from the battle with the BG in the background all throughout my conversation with Jespar and continuing through the black screen until my character eventually dies waiting for the next quest to start. Then it starts over talking to Jespar again in the Vault. I've been stuck here for a while and tried going back to old saves multiple times and at multiple points, but each time it turned out even more buggy, so I decided to stick with the saves I have. Even typing "startquest mq18a" hasn't done anything.

did/do you use any mods and/or console commands?

please attach a savegame in which you didn't use any commands (for that quest) yet.
or best would be multiple, directly before speaking to Jespar and before fighting the Black Guardian.
they're found in (...\Documents\My Games\Enderal).
we'll need the *.ess and the *.skse file, pack both to a zip/rar/whatever archive, the forum doesn't accept *.skse.

I used commands throughout the game, so I can't remember exactly when. But in my saves, the console commands for this quest haven't been used yet. I'm gonna have to upload my saves in multiple posts, due to the size limit.

what the f ?

you're (or I'm in your save) still getting damage from the Guardian, even if in a menu (or with tgm).
do you have a save before talking to or before figthing him?

the latest save happens otherwise as you described, just that I still get damage and die.

The only one I have is the Deserted Tunnels save. I just forgot to take off the .tmp at the end. But when I did and tried to load it, I got this error message that I attached, then Enderal crashed. I followed the instructions, except the ones related to ShowRaceMenu but I still got the error message and Enderal crashed again.

bad news, sorry.
we can't load the oldest save either (complete freeze without error message),
at this point we can't do anything about the issue.

the "good" news is, that there's really only mainquest after this point which you could watch in an Let'sPlay.
it's less than ideal, but maybe better than nothing :/

ok, I'll just do that at this point.

dev stuemper adds that it's "EnableWaitNoHeal" that broke the bossfight (and now causes it to loop).
apparently it should disable itself during/before the scene (i don't use it).
