I got past this lock the last time I played but right now the arthritis in my hands is very bad and I just can't do it.

I tried the player.setav speedmult 135 console code but it didn't do anything to my run speed.

I need a setstage code to get past this.

I question the inclusion of this puzzle in this game. It is unnecessarily difficult and adds nothing but frustration and anger.

EDIT: I'll add that Jespar never actually gets out of the chair and walks down the hall to the lock. I have moved him to the lock using the moveto player command, but he just walks away and goes back to the chair,

I think this quest is irretrievably bugged in my game, so I really do need a console code to move me past this part of the quest.

If Jespar never gets out of his chair, then that would be the cause why you can't interact with the starling puzzle.
Upload a save before talking to Jeapar in the Dungeon (.skse and .ess packed as .rar from Documents\My Games\Enderal\saves\)
