New problem now.... ugh. I've got 5 mods back on and am continuing the game but it no longer saves!
I can manually save, and quicksave but it doesn't actually write a new file, I can't load any progress after the Aged Man's house.

I looked into C:\Documents\mygames\enderal\saves and none of the new saves were in the directory. Search of all hard drives found no new Enderal saves.

All files validated through Steam.

So a big problem again, sorry.

I separated your last post (because it is a different topic)

You should try a clean install (then your mods are also uninstalled again!).
We had the same problem recently in the German forum (if you want you can translate it for example with Google translator).

Uninstall Enderal and manually delete these remaining folders (save existing savegames beforehand):

...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Enderal
C:\user\...\AppData\Local\enderal
C:\user\...\Documents\my games\Enderal


Then restart Steam / the PC and reinstall Enderal.
