So when I try to play the game, no matter what quest I pick it doesn't show any quest marker nor does it show me where I'm supposed to go on the map, at the most it shows me where Kim is, sometimes. This is the Steam version of Nehrim. Is there a way to fix this?

quest markers are not exactly rare, but there are even less than in Enderal (if you played that),
and definitely less than in Oblivion or Skyrim.
depending on how much you played it's entirely possible that you just didn't encounter quests that use them.
(and there can only be one active quest at any given time)

if you attach a savegame ((...\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Saves), both the *.ess and the *.obse file) we can take a look at it
