Hello!.i play through steam and i use enderal overhaul mod. when i use the console-all letters look like squares. though ingame and mod language are set to English. how can i solve this?

You probably use a Russian keyboard?
You can change this for your keyboard under Windows/setttings.

And there will soon be a Russian version of Enderal

i tried to switch language in windows and so on. the result-everything in console -squares. when i bought a title deed for a house in a game, it asked me to give it a name-and letters were english. dunno what is wrong.
the other problem-i tried to craft starling navigator talisman. it said-it was added to inventory. but no talisman in result. and in fast with squares in console i can't even add it with a number

The starling-navigator was a bug fixed on the current version.
Older game starts are unfortunately not fixed, in this situation you need this command: player.additem 101e9bb 1

The squares is (as already discussed by urst and Kermit61) a language problem, whether in the game or in connection with other programs such as Windows. At the moment I don't have any other solution than the suggested ones.
English or german Enderal and an original english/german Windows operating system do not have this problem.
Maybe a solution is known in the Russian forum?

searched here. no result. in-game language-english. console-squares. ok just one question. how strong is starling navigator? which apparition can be equal in power in terms that i cannot get navigator? i play melee and want a 1h+mage or pure mage apparition. help me with that please and we can close the topic.

Can you send me your savegame?
You found it in ...\Documents\My Games\Enderal\Saves, we'll need the skse and the ess of a manual (no quick- or auto-) save.
Pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here.
With this I can try if I can make the starling-navigator available.
But that doesn't solve your squares.

well....actually i use only quick and auto... the rest a far way ago...

for real...just f..k the navigator...just tell me an alternative...

You unfortunately have a mod installed, Enderal Overhaul, so maybe you have your problems.
Mods are not supported by us.

PS: In the enclosed save you have the navigator,
but save from now on correctly and several times manually.

thank you very much! it worked. but damn i thought navigator is that big robot^
as for the mod- author said that it is initial problem in vanilla Enderal and not becuz of the overhaul.
one more question- can i ask for that - Aeterna Ambassador ?
