I see this after dropping down the shaft, there is also rats in there that I have killed that are not being rendered. I tried it on my PC and laptop and both look the same. I don't have any additional mods installed.



EDIT: BTW I did a verify game cache after running in to the problem and it found 3 files missing, can it be the save is corrupt?

No mods (not even before), game already checked with steam, mhmm, then this should not happen.
Whether your savegame is the problem or something else, we can check it out if you upload us one here.
You found it in: ...\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves, we'll need the -.skse and the -.ess of a manual (no quick- or auto-) save,
pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here.

I have had Skyrim uninstalled for quite some time before I installed this, surely mods from a previous install should not carry over?

Should all the installed mods be in the Data Files section in the launcher?

I can confirm the error that is in progress (it is not due to your save).
You can find a solution in the Tread linked by Badgesareus.
(just keep walking towards the next visible point, try something until you get past invisible walls and watch out for possible opponents)
Your savegane is fine, I can do the quest as planned.

in the invisible area is not more than you have already left in the upper area^^
