I keep having the same problem with plot progression. I get to a point in the story line and nothing happens.
First time, when the party first enters the Sky city, Komai doesn't follow and when the party gets to the first large tablet on wall nothing happens. I had to go back to the outside door, re-enter then wait for Komai's dialog to start, then carefully follow him to the tablet to get the dialog necessary to continue progression in the story.
Second time, I couldn't get the dialog was when, after finishing looking for Komai, the group gets to an area with Mad Rats and mech spiders, and after they were taken care of, the necessary dialogue would NOT happen! Again, I had to re-load an earlier save, After the first issue was solved above, and keep trying until I finally got the dialogue to continue the story.
Third time I am looking for the crystal to disable the defence system and when I get to the crystal and start attacking it, NOTHING happens. I can't get past this last problem ! In the older version (Shards of Order) attacking the crystal is supposed to trigger all hell ! but nothing is happening here. Has this changed in the version? I've tried re-starting this from the initial door to the workshop upper, but after 4 tries I still can't get past this!
Also, I can't find the save game location for the steam game. There is no Enderal directory under MY GAMES.
Thanks for the new version of Enderal. I hope these bugs get squashed soon.

found in ...\Documents\My Games\Enderal\Saves, we'll need the skse and the ess of a manual (no quick- or auto-) save
pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here

If you do not have a save folder in Enderal, your installation is most likely faulty. Unless you have problems with the file management of Windows or any Modmanager installed.
But if your game finds saved games, the save folders might be somewhere under ...\AppData\Local\Enderal or similar.
(Problems with Windows rights management or incompatiable Modmanger)
Execute the EnderalLauncher as admin and set the administrator status for TESV.exe as well. (Uninstall Modmanager or its Enderal profile)

Do you have any mods installed, if so, which ones?
Please deactivate/uninstall it and test it again.
