Problem: Both my wife and I use the same PC. We both have a steam account on said pc. We both OWN a copy of original skyrim on steam (listed in our profile games lists), even though we use family sharing as we have a collection of games each that we now share. I know Enderal doesn't work if skyrim is "shared" on the pc. But as stated, we both have purchased a copy of skyrim each and registered them on steam. Enderal works on my profile, but not on my wifes (she just gets the small skyrim login screen that you cant do nothing with). Ive tried reinstalling skyrim and enderal, but same results. It will only run on my profile, not my wife's. Any ideas on how this can be corrected, as mentioned previously both of us own purchased copies of skyrim on steam.

does your wife have admin rights?
try running Steam / the Enderal launcher as administrator.

also, some firewall or antivirus might interfere for some reason (happens),
make sure to whitelist the game

Thanks for that. Created a launch icon for Enderal, and run it as admin. Problem sorted! If you don't run it as admin, though, it tries to launch skyrim instead! strange. Thanks for your help x
