I'm 99.9% certain that this isn't possible as Skyrim VR uses the special edition, but is there any way (including bodging) to get FS to run in VR, obviously with using xbox controller not the motion controls, even if it's only possible to to see and move about in the starter area just to see it?

yeah, as you said, since Skyrim VR uses the 64bit version it's really not supported

but there are guides on how to get it to work somewhat, mainly on /r/Enderal
- Enderal SE, manual installation or tool
- and with that, VR


note that the installations are (probably) buggy as hell and we can absolutely not support them
(so maybe read through the linked threads to see if it's worth it )
(also, both will probably change with the Steam release)

I fully expect it to be buggy and basically unplayable, as in playing the game normally, I'm just curious to see and experience Enderal in VR briefly...and then go back to the pancake, but much better looking version.
