With not much new on the English forum, I took a peek at the German forum, and found some interesting comments from Hoxyd & Nicolas, translated by Google as:

We will strengthen and rebuild the team this year. This means that we will be working on commercial projects as soon as Enderal has been released. However, we will not design any epic RPG stories.... There are already aspirations and concrete plans to develop commercial games from one side of the team,

I certainly would be interested in anything SureAI might be willing to share about these comments.

Isn't this something that's been known for over a year or so. SureAI have always said that Enderal is their last "free project" and that once it's complete they were going to transition from a group of modders into a commercial game studio and get revenue back to be able to continue making more games.
