Hey there. Sorry if this is a dumb question or if it was answered somewhere else and I didn't see it, but does my copy of Skyrim need to be PATCHED to run Enderal?
I have the original DVD of Skyrim, pre patches, pre DLC. Can I just install that, and then install Enderal? Or do I need to patch Skyrim first?

yes, you do need a fully patched game
(which may or may not mean that you have to install Steam, if that's the reason you avoided updates :/ )

Steam is needed, as is the latest version of Skyrim-Classik (1.9.32.0 / 32bit), for Enderal (1.2.5.0) and integrated SKSE ( 0.1.7.2. ).
Other versions are not supported.

No, it's not about avoiding Steam, its about avoiding taking up too much hard drive space. Oh well, it is what it is!
