I really like Enderal but sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get an answer. And come on, realistically, the wiki and other documentation leaves a lot to be desired compared to Skyrim. So many blank entries.
Just saying....

I obviously can't speak for other users (and I don't know what other questions weren't answered),
but in this case I would just have answered "go and check for yourself".
and that's not that helpful![]()
the wiki is written by the community, so feel free to fill in the blanks![]()

I'm generally really not indifferent to other users problems, and neither is the rest of the community, if it's that what you're saying.
I just didn't know how to answer that question in any other way, so I didn't. (I mostly do technical support)
don't "complain" (in lack of a better term) then and call it indifference :/

I originally only posted in this thread because you began to sound strangely passive-aggressive.
if that wasn't your intention, I apologize sincerely,

Let me apologize ahead of time for pursuing this and responding to your remarks...this thread is effectively no man's land anyway and I am apparently persona non grata, so perhaps I can offer an insight or two from the perspective of someone who has survived for more than seven decades and who was posting on digital forums since before there was an Internet (fidonet)

No worries..only I don't know what that means--"strangely passive aggressive." Is asking questions...even dumb questions...passive aggressive? Is honesty and openness passive aggressive? If I knew what that means perhaps I could change the way I post...to the extent that I can or am welcome to post at all.I originally only posted in this thread because you began to sound strangely passive-aggressive.
if that wasn't your intention, I apologize sincerely,
In that regard, I'm not sure what any of this means...esp. for me going forward.
You thanked me in post #15, although I can't think why, except perhaps that I had indicated my willingness to move on.
But the bigger, and more important question now is how do I continue to post here? What good does it do to ask questions when people are "intentionally" ignoring them? When three moderators apparently approve of unwarranted personal attacks?
I'm sure it doesn't make any difference, at all, if I don't feel welcome here...if I no longer ask my irritating questions--I have little to offer except more questions (which, in the best of circumstances, can spur further conversation/traffic...for whatever that's worth) and/or perhaps an insight into what the average user of this forum experiences. But in that regard, I'm just a symptom.
It is not social media that is to blame for problems here or in any forum. Forums are communities. The more tolerant and engaged the community, the healthier the forum. And, generally speaking, the larger and more active. The more exclusive, intolerant and less open, the weaker and the less attractive to outsiders.
But perhaps that's the way people want it. It does tend to be self-reinforcing.
