Prophets and Prophetesses,
It's been quiet lately - however, rest assured that we're still working on the DLC.
The German writing has been finished and we've started to send out the script to the VAs. Also, the English translation is now in the making.
As a late Christmas present, here's an awesome illustration by vjatoch. It shows Tharaêl, one of the main characters you will encounter in the Rhalâta questline - probably one of the best and darkest pieces of writing Nicolas has ever done.
Merry Christmas and thanks for your ongoing support! Also, thank to Nevigo for providing us with Articy Draft for five years straight now. You rock!

I see it, I'm so hyped for this update! I'm debating on whether or not I should stop my playthrough so I can complete it with forgotten stories.

I decided to take a recent second playthrough before Forgotten Stories, just to get a hang of the gaming universe and lore again

1. I really hope the main quest ending gets a third or fourth option.
2. It would also be nice to have a second dragon, the empty mountain in the north could fit a big one, in so that there could be a 'Desolation of the Dragon' as with Smaug (though not as big) which could account for why that portion of the map is so empty.

there was talk about a "secret" ending coming in forgotten stories but idk if thats still going to happen or not but if it does i cant wait to see what is needed to be done to unlock it

It is strongly recommended to start a new game after ForgotenStorys has appeared, otherwise it may come to conflict in the news.
From when and how exactly you come to the hidden end, even I can not answer you.

Generally speaking, Forgotten Stories will be compatible with old save-games. However, we advise starting a new play-through, particularly for those players desiring to unlock the hidden ending. a redudnant question as it has been asked numerous times before but i figured i'd get it out of my system so to speak............... with the most recent patch of enderal having a side note that it was the last patch before forgotten stories is released does that mean its close to release or no? either way its fine by me but i kinda was thinking it would be since as i just stated there were apparently ging to be no more patches before forgotten stores gets released

a release before summer is extremely unlikely at this point. the only thing thats hopefullly set in stone is a release in 2018 as otherwise they would exceed the 2 year mark for it which would be a bit excessive compared to the main game.
but the release isnt close for sure just because this was the last patch. otherwise there would be way more info on it.
i would expect a release at the earliest in june/july 2018 and at the latest december 2018. somewhere in that timeframe seems like a good estimate currently.
